The Meeting of World Rugby Delegate Mr. Saar with Iran NOC Secretary General
Rugby Services Manager (Asia) for World Rugby Mr. Ridzal Saat had a meeting with Secretary General of Iran Olympic Committee Mr. Shahrokh Shahnazi during his trip to Iran
President of Iran Federation of Sport Associations Mr. Mohammad Alipour and head of Iran rugby association Hassan Mirzaaghabeik accompanied Mr. Saat for the meeting. During the meeting two sides talked about the ways to develop rugby in Iran
“ During recent years, Iran rugby had a successful way and we hope Iran rugby affiliate to world rugby and have their support for promoting this sport in Iran.” Mr. Alipour said
“ Iran rugby has had very good improvement especially in women category and we were successful in educational section.” He added
“The support of World Rugby Union will have very positive effects on Iran rugby and I hope our negotiations put Iran rugby on success way.” Mr. Shahnazi said to Mr. Saat
“ I suggest to hold solidarity rugby courses in Iran by support of World Rugby Union and Iran Olympic Committee to improve the knowledge and experience of our coaches and referees.” Head of Iran rugby association Mirza Aghabeik said
“ Iran is among 15 countries in the world for developing women rugby and hopefully you have done good things in this section.” Ridzal Saat noted |
